1. About this policy
This policy describes information handled when you visit the WinStudio website, contact us, or use WinStudio’s screen-recording and editing features. The information involved depends on the features you choose. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to support@winstudio.pro.
2. Information involved
- Information you provide: your name, email address, enquiry, and any files or details you voluntarily send to support.
- Account information: where account features are used, information provided during registration or sign-in and your account preferences.
- Recording and project content: screen content, video, audio, and project details you choose to capture, import, or save using the available tools. Not every feature captures every type of content.
- Technical information: website and service providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, request times, and diagnostic logs needed to deliver and protect the service.
3. The website’s quick recorder
The quick-capture demo on this marketing website asks you to select a screen, window, or tab through your browser. Its current implementation records that source without microphone or camera access. Recordings and imported video previews are processed locally in the browser; this demo does not upload those videos to a server.
Download a clip before closing or refreshing the page. Background and spacing changes affect the demo preview, not the downloaded original. These statements describe the website demo; account, project-saving, and other features in the full app can involve different processing.
4. How information is used
Information is used as needed to provide the features you request, manage accounts where available, respond to support enquiries, diagnose technical problems, protect against misuse, and meet applicable legal obligations. Do not include passwords, payment-card details, or unnecessary sensitive information in support messages or recordings.
5. Sign-in and connected services
If you choose a third-party sign-in or connected feature, review its permission screen before continuing. The information made available depends on the permissions you approve and the feature you select. Manage or revoke permissions through that provider’s account settings. Removing a connection does not necessarily delete information already saved in a WinStudio account; contact us about deletion separately.
6. Providers, external resources, and disclosures
Hosting, infrastructure, account, and communication providers may process information needed to deliver the features you use. This website loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser requests font resources from Google. Links to other websites and the email application used for support are governed by those providers’ own privacy practices.
Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or where necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or threats to people’s rights or safety.
7. Cookies and browser storage
The marketing website’s quick-capture code uses temporary browser memory for video previews. Account and connected services can use cookies or browser storage for sign-in, security, and preferences. You can manage cookies and site permissions through your browser settings; blocking them may affect relevant features.
8. Retention and security
Local demo recordings are not a cloud backup. Keep your own downloaded copies. Information sent to support or saved through account features may remain for as long as needed to provide the relevant service, resolve issues, or satisfy applicable obligations. Ask support for information about the retention that applies to your account or a particular feature.
No online service, device, or transmission method can guarantee complete security. Use trusted devices, protect your account credentials, and avoid capturing information you do not intend to share.
9. Your choices and requests
You control when to begin a recording and which source to share. Stop sharing through your browser or the recorder, and manage microphone, camera, and screen permissions in browser settings.
To ask about access, correction, or deletion of personal information, email support@winstudio.pro with enough detail to identify your request. We may need to verify your identity. Rights and exceptions depend on applicable law; information needed for legal obligations or unresolved disputes may need to be retained.
10. Recording other people and children’s information
Before recording other people or their information, obtain any permissions required in your circumstances. Parents or guardians who believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate permission can contact support to request review and removal where appropriate.
11. Updates and contact
This policy may be updated as the service changes. The latest version and its update date will appear on this page. For questions, use our Contact page or email support@winstudio.pro.
