1. Using WinStudio
These terms apply to the WinStudio website and its available recording and editing services. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you use WinStudio for an organisation, you must have authority to do so.
2. Accounts and access
Where an account is required, provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity you authorise through your account. Contact support@winstudio.pro if you suspect unauthorised access. You must be legally able to agree to these terms or have the necessary parent or guardian permission.
3. Your recordings and permissions
You retain ownership of the content you create or provide. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to record screens, voices, people, and third-party material, and for how you use or distribute the resulting content.
When you submit content to a hosted feature, you give WinStudio permission to process it to provide that feature, including storage or delivery you request. This does not transfer ownership of your content to WinStudio.
4. Acceptable use
- Do not use WinStudio to break the law, infringe intellectual-property rights, or violate another person’s privacy.
- Do not upload malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or bypass security and usage controls.
- Do not use recordings for fraud, harassment, impersonation, or other unlawful activity.
- Do not resell access to the service or represent yourself as WinStudio without permission.
5. The quick-capture demo
The website demo records up to 30 seconds of a supported screen source. It does not record microphone or camera audio. It processes captured or imported clips in your browser, and you should download clips before leaving or refreshing the page.
Demo backdrop and spacing controls change only the preview. Downloads preserve the original clip. Browser and device support varies, and the full app’s features may differ from this demo.
6. Plans, payments, and feature availability
If you choose a paid plan, review its price, billing cycle, renewal terms, cancellation process, and any refund conditions presented before purchase. These website terms do not promise a particular price, storage allowance, refund, or feature that is not part of your selected offer. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
Features may change or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons. Keep independent copies of important recordings and projects.
7. Our website and third-party services
WinStudio’s branding, website materials, and software remain the property of their respective owners. You may use them as needed to use the service, but these terms do not grant ownership or permission to copy or redistribute the service.
External websites, sign-in providers, and connected tools have their own terms. Their availability and behaviour are outside WinStudio’s control.
8. Privacy
Read our Privacy Policy for information about personal information, recordings, support enquiries, and privacy requests.
9. Suspension and ending use
You can stop using the service at any time. Access may be restricted where necessary to address misuse, security risks, violations of these terms, or legal requirements. Contact support with questions about a restriction or to request account deletion. Save important content before ending your use of the service.
10. Service limitations and responsibility
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis without a guarantee of uninterrupted, error-free operation or suitability for every purpose. You are responsible for checking recordings and exports before relying on them.
To the extent permitted by law, WinStudio is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights, warranties, or liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
11. Changes and questions
These terms may be updated as the service changes. Updated terms will be posted here with a revised date. Where legally required, material changes will be notified before they take effect.
